In June 2009, the AS was awarded ISO 9001:2008 quality management systems certification after a comprehensive external audit of policies, procedures and documentation in every aspect of our operations. The exercise involved staff across all organisational functions, with the User Office in particular coming through with flying colours.
In March 2012, the AS passed its first triennial re-certification audit, with the auditor’s report noting significant improvements in the organisation’s management system.
“Over the previous three years of certification the organisation’s performance has significantly improved especially in relation to quality. The management system is now supported at all levels of the organisation and personnel within the organisation have a strong focus in identifying improvements within their work area. There is a very high level of compliance with procedures.”
